Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Body Journeyman. The role is to perform all functions of a fully-qualified heavy-duty truck repair Bodyman under minimal supervision.

You will perform skilled body work on heavy-duty truck equipment, troubleshoot major problems, help train apprentice Bodymen, maintain a neat work area, and assist the Shop Foreman as needed.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in truck body repair or related body repair service.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Must have necessary tools to perform responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled and complicated body work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components with minimal supervision.
• Performs troubleshooting on major problems.
• Works with and helps train apprentice Bodymen.
• Maintains a neat and orderly working area and proper handling of company tools.
• Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Maintains favorable relations with customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
