Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC Kenworth) is seeking a Body Journeyman to perform all functions of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck repair Bodyman under minimal supervision. You will handle skilled body work, troubleshoot major problems, and assist in training apprentices at a leading Kenworth dealership network.

The role emphasizes maintaining a clean work area, advising on additional repairs, and keeping strong customer relations while contributing to the shop's performance.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum of five years experience in truck body repair.
• Must have a positive can do attitude.
• Must have necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck Dealership and Leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Body Journeyman. The role of the Body Journeyman is to perform all functions of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck repair Bodyman under minimal supervision.

• Performs skilled and complicated body work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components with minimal supervision.
• Performs trouble shooting on major problems.
• Works with and help train apprentice Bodymen.
• Maintains a neat and orderly working area and proper handling of company tools.
• Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Maintains favorable relations with customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
