Progressive Insurance is seeking an insurance defense attorney for its Bodily Injury (BI) unit. You will represent Progressive insureds and the company in litigation, handling cases from start to finish, drafting pleadings, motions, trial briefs, and negotiating settlements.

This hybrid role requires New York bar admission and a JD or LL.M., with at least two years of auto litigation experience. In-person work is limited to litigation events, with travel for training and meetings.

Qualifications

• Juris doctor degree or LL.M. required.
• Admitted to practice law in New York.

Responsabilités

• Represent Progressive insureds in BI auto litigation from filing to resolution.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, statements, and trial briefs.
• Negotiate settlements with clients and claims partners.
• Prepare reports on litigation and assess claim risk exposure.
• Analyze discovery, depositions, and medical records.
