Job summary

Progressive is seeking an experienced insurance defense attorney to join our Bodily Injury litigation team. Represent Progressive insureds and the company in all phases of motor vehicle defense litigation, from pleadings to negotiations.

This hybrid role requires Georgia bar admission, at least 2 years of auto litigation, and readiness to travel occasionally for meetings and training; the team collaborates closely with claims partners and clients to drive positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Juris doctor degree or Master of Laws (LLM) and a minimum of 2 years general/auto litigation experience
• Admitted to practice law in Georgia
• Hybrid role with occasional travel to an office for meetings and training

Responsibilities

• Represent Progressive insureds in motor vehicle liability defense matters from start to finish.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, statements, and trial briefs.
• Negotiate settlements and coordinate with claims partners.
• Review discovery, depositions, and medical records to assess claim value.
