Progressive is seeking an insurance defense attorney in its bodily injury unit. You will provide legal representation for Progressive insureds in litigation, draft pleadings and motions, and negotiate settlements.

The role involves collaboration with clients and claims partners to manage risk and report on case progression. The position is hybrid, with in-person attendance limited to litigation events and occasional travel for training and meetings.

Qualifikationen

• J.D. or LL.M. with at least 2 years of general/auto litigation experience.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana.

Aufgaben

• Represent Progressive insureds in litigation before courts and arbitration panels.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, statements, and trial briefs; negotiate settlements.
• Collaborate with clients and claims partners to report on litigation and assess risk.
• Analyze discovery, depositions and medical records to value claims.
