Progressive in Washington state is seeking a claims adjuster specialist to manage attorney-represented BI claims in a hybrid role, with four days per month in-office.

You will evaluate liability, coverage and damages, negotiate with attorneys, and settle claims while collaborating with a supportive team to grow your career. The position requires independent work and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience with 1 year in claims handling.
• Associate's degree and 3 years relevant work experience with 1 year in claims handling.
• Bachelor's degree and 1 year in claims handling.

Responsabilités

• Determines coverage and liability.
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys.
• Settle claims and set reserves.
• Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents.
• Analyze and interpret medical reports and manage claims process for efficient resolution.
• Interview, collect and document information from claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police.
