Job summary

Sportsman Boats is seeking a Cushion Coverer to transform cut fabrics and cushion materials into finished cushions for our boat interiors. You will stuff and fit cushions, cover with fabric, staple to the frame, and prepare components for the assembly line.

We value dependable, detail-oriented individuals who can learn our processes, work with minimal supervision, and uphold high quality in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand and work with your hands and arms for extended periods.
• Bilingual Spanish/English and marine or boating industry experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stuff and fit cushions according to patterns.
• Cover cushions with fabric and securely staple materials to the framework.
• Button and finish cushions for installation in our boats.
• Inspect finished cushions for defects, damage, or stains.
• Maintain Sportsman Boats' high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Work independently and as part of a team to keep production moving.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. You don't have to come from the boating industry—we can teach you our processes and help you develop your skills.

You'll need:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand and work with your hands and arms for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, grip, push, pull, and perform other physical movements throughout the day
• High school diploma or equivalent

Bilingual Spanish/English and marine or boating industry experience are a plus!
