Job summary

Premier Marine, Inc. is seeking a Station Captain to direct the work activities of a boat-station team in our Minnesota facility.

You will lead, train, and coach staff, assign tasks, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery of production and customer service orders. You will manage workflow, resolve issues, document improvements, and maintain station equipment while upholding our standards for integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months boat-building experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and team motivation abilities.
• Ability to work safely and to takt time with quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assign work across the station to ensure even distribution.
• Lead and support team to meet safety, quality, and takt-time goals.
• Verify work quality, complete production paperwork and sign-offs.
• Resolve staffing, production, and part-availability issues at the station.
• Identify, document and help implement process improvements.
• Lead training for new hires and rotations at the station.
• Assist in inventory reporting and parts shortage identification.
• Maintain equipment, perform daily checks, and support rework as needed.
