Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Boat Business Assistant to provide clerical support for all boat, motor, trailer or ATV customer purchases in the Boat Department or at a Boat Dealership. You will assist in preparing quotes, processing titles, deposits, and closing activities, while ensuring accurate data entry in IDS and timely documentation.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, organization, and the ability to handle paperwork, with regular office duties and end-of-day reconciliations.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support for boat, motor, trailer or ATV purchases.
• Assist in selling finance and insurance programs to increase dealer revenues.
• Conduct or assist in customer closings and funding activities.
• Coordinate all sale paperwork in IDS and maintain logs.
• Handle deposits, end-of-day reconciliations and cash handling.
• Post deals in IDS within 24 hours of delivery.
• Process MSOs and maintain a filing system for easy retrieval.
• Answer multi-line phones professionally and direct calls as needed.
• Maintain office supplies and paperwork, including title and registration paperwork.
• Prepare and file required title work and check requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
