Job summary

Hurawalhi Island Resort is seeking energetic, people’s person and service oriented candidates for Boat Crew (Local) positions. The role supports guest transport and vessel operations on a luxury all‑villa resort.

Responsibilities include organizing day‑to‑day vessel operations, assisting guests with luggage, ensuring safety equipment use, and helping the Captain with engine checks and mooring area upkeep. This is a local hire with room for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of previous experience in a similar role in a similar environment is required.
• Fire Safety Training and First Aid Training are preferred.
• All employees must maintain a neat, personal hygiene, clean and well‑groomed appearance (specific standards available).

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the day‑to‑day operation of the vessel, including keeping records of vessel operations and coordinating repairs, maintenance, and cleanliness in collaboration with the Guest Transport Management Team.
• Manage all luggage and supply items, assisting passengers in loading and unloading their belongings.
• Inform and instruct passengers on proper use of safety equipment and ensure equipment is kept in good condition.
• Assist the Captain in checking the engine and other equipment, provide boat condition reports to the Guest Transport Manager before mooring the Dhoni, and maintain a clean and safe mooring area.
