The Position

The Boarding Paralegal will manage the initial stages of foreclosure and bankruptcy cases, including data entry, document review, and file management. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate entry of loan data into CaseAware and other systems, processing status changes, and managing incoming mail. Experience with BKFS/Tempo and a background in foreclosure and bankruptcy are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and organize new case files and documents.
• Review loan documents for completeness and identify missing items.
• Enter client and case information into the firm's case management system, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Update and process file status changes, ensuring proper record-keeping.
• Manage incoming mail related to foreclosure and bankruptcy cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant industry experience considered.
• At least 2 years of experience in default services, with foreclosure and bankruptcy experience preferred.
• Proficiency in CaseAware; familiarity with BKFS/Tempo is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive hourly rate of $19.23, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, 401(k), and gym/fitness reimbursement.
