Compensation: $200,000 - $230,000 with 25% production.
Join an established Dentistry & Oral Surgery department within a collaborative, multi-specialty hospital that has been serving Central Virginia for more than 40 years. At Virginia Veterinary Centers – Short Pump, you’ll work alongside a talented team of specialists and emergency clinicians who are committed to exceptional patient care, strong collaboration, and advancing specialty medicine.

In your day-to-day, you will:
· Provide comprehensive dental and oral surgical care for patients requiring advanced dentistry services.
· Collaborate closely with specialists and emergency clinicians to develop coordinated treatment plans for complex cases.
· Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
· Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with referring veterinarians and support continuity of care throughout the patient journey.
· Contribute to the continued success and growth of the established Dentistry & Oral Surgery department.
· Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
· DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
· Board Certification in Dentistry & Oral Surgery or Residency Trained in Dentistry & Oral Surgery.
· Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
· A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
· A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.
