Virginia Veterinary Centers - Short Pump, part of Ethos Veterinary Health, seeks a Veterinary Neurologist to join a collaborative, multi-specialty team in Richmond, VA. This full-time position offers a generous compensation package (200,000–250,000 USD base with 25% production) and a comprehensive benefits program in a state-of-the-art hospital.

Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
  • Board Certification in Neurology or Residency Trained in Neurology.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurologic and neurosurgical conditions in companion animals.
  • Perform and interpret advanced neurologic diagnostics and develop comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases.
  • Collaborate with specialists, emergency clinicians, and support teams to provide coordinated care for urgent and complex neurologic patients.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referring veterinarians through clear communication and continuity of care.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of neurology services at Virginia Veterinary Centers - Short Pump.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
