Memphis Veterinary Specialists (MVS) in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking a Board Certified or Residency Trained Cardiologist to join our multi-specialty and emergency veterinary center. You will work with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, delivering high-quality cardiovascular care and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college
• 1-year rotating internship in small animal medicine, surgery, ER
• Completed a 3-year AVMA approved residency
• Current State Veterinary License
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups
• Communicate with clients and educate them
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Prescribe medications and follow controlled substances protocols
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities
• Monitor hospital protocols and daily operations
• Attend rounds and participate in practice management updates
