Memphis Veterinary Specialists (MVS) in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking a compassionate and skilled Board Certified or Residency Trained Internist to join our team. You will work with experienced veterinarians and support staff to provide high-quality veterinary care and build lasting client relationships.

The hospital offers a state-of-the-art facility with CT, digital radiology, ultrasound, and more, along with a collaborative culture emphasizing growth, wellbeing, and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD licensed in Tennessee.
• 1-year internship in small animal medicine/ER.
• 3-year AVMA-accredited residency completed.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills; team-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups
• Client communication and education
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Pharmacy duties and controlled substances protocols
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency; collaborate with Hospital Manager
• Evaluate and monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge
• Attend daily rounds to uphold high standards
• Support practice management updates and training
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
