PetVet Care Centers' Memphis Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Board Certified or Residency Trained Internist to join a multi-specialty, emergency veterinary center. The role emphasizes high-quality care, client communication, and collaboration with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff under hospital leadership.

The incumbent will provide comprehensive medical care, maintain records, and participate in ongoing professional development within a culture that values

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college or university.
• 1-year rotational internship in small animal medicine, surgery, ER.
• 3-year AVMA approved residency program.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties and controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
• Attend daily rounds when possible and participate in training.
