Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Music Therapist to work in the Child Life Services area. The role operates Monday–Friday with no weekends, at a leading pediatric hospital known for excellence in patient care and family-centered services.

Responsibilities include designing and conducting individual and group music therapy sessions, coordinating with the care team, and supporting patients’ physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs through music experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy.
• Board-certified Music Therapist (BCMT) or equivalent.
• Experience of less than 2 years; 2–5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and implements music therapy for physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs.
• Designs and conducts sessions for individuals and groups based on client needs.
• Coordinates therapy with the healthcare team and shares responses to intervention.
• Serves as a resource and guides musical experiences to aid patient care.
