Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician for the Deberry Special Needs Facility in Nashville, TN. You will conduct medical assessments, manage emergent and routine care, and oversee treatment for chronic conditions in a correctional setting.

Under the Site Medical Director and Statewide Medical Director, you will help ensure efficient, clinically appropriate services and participate in organizational initiatives. Monday–Friday, day shift, with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited university.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Clean, active Tennessee medical license.
• Active and unrestricted DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass credentialing, background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical assessments and evaluations for inmates.
• Treat emergent, urgent and routine medical issues.
• Supervise medical treatment for chronic conditions and participate in quality initiatives.
