Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician to join our team at the Deberry Special Needs Facility located in Nashville, Tennessee. The physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, treats emergent, urgent, and routine issues, and oversees chronic disease management in a correctional setting.

Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited university, board certification in IM or FM, an active Tennessee license, a current DEA, and BLS.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from accredited university.
• Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license.
• DEA license active and unrestricted.
• Current BLS certification and ability to pass credentialing/background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical assessments and evaluations.
• Treat emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues.
• Supervise medical treatment for chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with Site Medical Director and Health Services Administrator to ensure quality care in a correctional setting.

Education

MD/DO degree
