The ideal candidate will hold Texas Board Certification in Family Law (Paralegal) and have 5+ years of relevant experience, with excellent drafting, organization, and deadline-management skills. This is a full-time, on-site role in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of paralegal experience in Texas family law.
  • Current Texas Board Certification in Family Law as a Paralegal required.
  • Strong drafting, organization, communication, and deadline-management skills.
  • Experience supporting matters through discovery, mediation, hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys through all phases of Texas family law matters from intake to post-judgment.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, orders, discovery, and settlement documents.
  • Coordinate discovery, document production, deadlines, hearings, and depositions.
  • Communicate professionally with clients navigating sensitive family matters.

Location

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Austin, Texas. Our team works closely together in person, making this an excellent fit for a paralegal who enjoys hands‑on collaboration with attorneys, clients, and fellow legal professionals.

Job Description
  • Support attorneys throughout all phases of Texas family law matters, from initial client intake through settlement, mediation, hearings, trial, and post‑judgment matters.
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, orders, discovery, correspondence, settlement documents, and other family law filings.
  • Coordinate and manage discovery, document production, deadlines, hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients navigating sensitive divorce, custody, and family‑related disputes.
  • Organize and maintain complex case files while keeping attorneys informed of deadlines, developments, and outstanding issues.
  • Assist with preparation for contested hearings and trials, including exhibits, witness materials, discovery responses, and case organization.
  • Work closely with attorneys to help develop efficient case strategies and move matters toward successful resolution.
  • Collaborate with the broader legal team while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent client service.
Qualifications
  • Current Texas Board of Legal Specialization Board Certification in Family Law as a Paralegal.
  • 5+ years of paralegal experience.
  • Significant Texas family law experience.
  • Strong knowledge of divorce, custody, child support, modifications, enforcement, discovery, mediation, and litigation procedures.
  • Excellent drafting, organization, communication, and deadline‑management skills.
  • Strong work ethic and collaborative team mentality.
  • Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Austin.
