LEGACY LEGAL RECRUITING LLC is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal in Dallas, TX to support attorneys from inception through trial. The role requires 5+ years in family law and a proven ability to manage a busy caseload with precision and discretion.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining case files, drafting pleadings, and coordinating hearings in a fast-paced environment. Long-term growth and a collaborative team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of family law paralegal experience.
• Strong knowledge of Texas family law procedures and court rules.
• Experience handling a high-volume caseload in a law firm environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and staff.
• Paralegal certificate preferred but not required based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, modifications, enforcement actions, and related proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Prepare and organize case files, exhibits, and trial notebooks.
• Manage case deadlines, court filings, and attorney calendars.
• Coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings.
• Review and summarize financial records, tax returns, bank statements, and other supporting documentation.
• Communicate directly with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom support as needed.
• Maintain accurate case management records and ensure timely follow-up on all matters.
