Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) to support young adults and adults in CBDS programs and shared living/outreach services. The role emphasizes PBIS/ABA delivery, data-based decision making, and staff training.

The BCBA will develop behavioral plans, assist with medication-related data collection, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams. A Master’s degree and MA licensure with BCBA certification are required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree required.
  • BCBA Certification and MA licensure required.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Reliable vehicle for travel between programs; valid driving record and CORI background checks.

Responsibilities

  • ImplementPBIS and ABA services across programs.
  • Develop Positive Behavioral Support Plans and Behavioral Assessments.
  • Collect and analyze data to support clinical decisions.
  • Support RBT staff and supervise a paraprofessional team.
  • Participate in ISP planning for individuals with behavioral needs.

YOUR ROLE AS ABOARD CERTIFIEDBEHAVIORAL ANALYST – BCBA:

The Behavior Analyst is aBoard CertifiedBehavior Analyst (BCBA) whofacilitatesPositive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and behavior analytic services for theabove listed programs. The Behavior Analyst provides relevant training to management and staff.

  • A keyobjectiveof the role is to implement the principles of Positive Behavior Supports for the division. Positive Behavior Supports (PBIS) is a person-centered framework with strategies designed to increase quality of life and decrease behavior that negatively affects a person’s life.
  • The focus of PBIS is teaching new skills and making positive changes in the environment tofacilitatebehavior change.
  • Developing Positive Behavioral Support Plans, Medication Treatment Plans, Functional BehavioralAssessments, andBehavior Support Plans
  • Data compiling and analysis, guiding and supporting the management teamregardingthe clinical and behavioral needs ofpersonsserved
  • Being a part of the Individual Support Plan team for individuals with behavior and clinical needs.
  • Assistingwiththe datacollection tofacilitatethe medication management process.
  • Supervision and Support of RBT Staff.

REQUIRMENTS:

  • Master’s Degree
  • BCBA Certification and licensed in the State of Massachusetts isrequired.
  • 3-5 yearspreviousexperience preferred
  • Reliable, registered & insured vehicle for travel between program locations.
  • Approved driving record check
  • Approved criminal background check (CORI)
