Job summary

A dedicated ABA therapy provider is seeking remote Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in North Carolina. The role involves delivering ABA therapy to children with autism, interacting with families and professionals, and creating individualized treatment plans. Candidates must have BCBA certification and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. Flexible hours and professional development opportunities are offered, with pay starting at $75 per hour.

Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in Applied Behavior Analysis is required.
  • BCBA certification is required.
  • LBA license from the North Carolina Behavior Analyst Licensure Board is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Observe patients and assess their behavior.
  • Meet with families to discuss treatment and progress.
  • Develop individual plans to improve behavior.
  • Create conditions to observe client behavior.
  • Formulate treatment plans sensitive to clients' needs.
  • Administer treatment and tailor interventions.
  • Suggest additional treatment as needed.
  • Stay updated on evidence-based research.
  • Advocate for inclusion of individuals with disorders.

Skills

Proven work experience as a BCBA or similar role
Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures
Excellent verbal and report writing skills
Calm, empathic, and patient nature
The ability to remain composed and adhere to best practices

Education

Relevant training and/or certifications as a BCBA

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Duties and Responsibilities
  • Observing patients and assessing their behavior
  • Meeting with families, teachers, or doctors to discuss the patient’s treatment and progress and recommend ways to address behavioral issues
  • Developing individual plans to correct, maintain, or improve certain behaviors
  • Create simulated conditions where you will observe the behavior of each client
  • Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs
  • Administer treatment and tailor interventions as needed
  • Suggest additional treatment by other professionals as required
  • Operate within time, financial, and other resource constraints
  • Remain abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices
  • Advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven work experience as a BCBA or similar role
  • Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures

Experience
