About the Opportunity

The Clinical Director designs and supervises evidence-based mental health services for children with autism spectrum disorders and similar disabilities, in response to physician recommendations across various settings.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct regular sessions via various modalities (virtual, virtual reality, etc.) for assigned caseloads, including:
2. Providing parent education
3. Supervising program implementation
4. Monitoring documentation completion
5. Providing in-field training to direct reports
6. Educating families on maintaining consistent, clinically appropriate schedules
7. Communicating policies effectively to families
8. Completing documentation (treatment plans, data sheets, behavior support plans, reports)
9. Monitoring daily appointments for completion and accurate notes
10. Maintaining records and inputting supervision hours
11. Writing and submitting reports by deadlines
12. Meeting billable hours goals
13. Providing clinical support and training to team members
14. Evaluating clinical performance of supervisees
15. Supervising clinical processes and maintaining documentation
16. Communicating with HR and Regional Director regarding administrative concerns
17. Staying current with research and trends in autism and related fields
18. Participating in meetings and trainings
19. Performing additional duties as assigned

About You

Experience & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, childhood development, education, pediatric therapy, or related field
• BCBA credential required
• At least two years of experience working with children with autism and related disabilities in a multidisciplinary setting
• Successful experience managing a full ABA caseload
• Knowledge of ABA methodologies and related interventions (ESDM, TEACCH, PECS, PRT)
• Understanding of IEPs and community resources
• Sensitivity to diverse populations
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between sites
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingual preferred
• Discretion and confidentiality skills
• Proficiency in computer software

Physical requirements include constant visual and manual tasks, frequent sitting and computer use, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
