About the Opportunity

The Clinical Director designs and supervises evidence-based mental health services for children with autism spectrum disorders and/or similar disabilities, in response to physician recommendations, across home, school, and natural settings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular sessions via various modalities (virtual, virtual reality, etc.) for assigned caseloads
  • Providing individualized parent education
  • Supervising program implementation
  • Monitoring documentation completion
  • Providing in-field training to direct reports
  • Educating families on maintaining consistent schedules
  • Communicating policies effectively to families
  • Completing documentation such as treatment plans, data sheets, behavioral support plans, progress and discharge reports, and other site-related documents
  • Monitoring daily service appointments for completion and accurate notes
  • Maintaining appropriate progress notes for supervision hours and inputting supervision hours into billing systems
  • Supervising and training Clinical Leaders and Behavior Specialists, including conducting meetings and creating clinical trainings
  • Evaluating clinical performance of supervisees and addressing concerns
  • Maintaining supervision documentation
  • Guiding clinical processes such as behavioral support plans, assessments, session plans, and data collection
  • Communicating with HR and Regional Directors regarding administrative concerns
  • Staying current with research and trends related to autism and related fields
  • Attending meetings, trainings, and in-services
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

About You

Experience & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in psychology, childhood development, education, pediatric therapy, or related field from an accredited institution
  • BCBA Credential required
  • At least two years of professional experience working with children with autism and related disabilities in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Successful experience managing a full ABA caseload
  • Knowledge of methodologies such as ABA, ESDM, TEACCH, PECS, and PRT
  • Understanding of School Continuum of Services and IEPs
  • Knowledge of community resources and agencies serving children
  • Sensitivity to diverse populations
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel across program areas (valid driver’s license, auto insurance, acceptable driving record)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities preferred
  • Discretion, confidentiality, and policy interpretation skills
  • Proficiency in computer and word processing software

Physical requirements include constant visual focus, sitting, frequent movement, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
