Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Responsibilities:
- Initial and ongoing assessment and evaluation of client skills and needs
- Development and monitoring of individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans
- Staff training, supervision, and feedback for client progress
- Facilitate caregiver meetings and training to ensure open communication
- Submit required documents for audits
- Identify clients and families needing additional supports, such as social skills groups or family support groups
- Mentor staff, foster engagement, and promote a positive, respectful work culture
- Participate in professional development and share insights with the clinical team
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and credentials (CCABA, insurance payors, BACB, state requirements)
Requirements:
Experience:
- Management and leadership experience; ability to interact with families, staff, clients, and community partners
- Assess skills and deficits across various domains
- Develop and analyze individual treatment and behavior plans
- Practice various ABA methodologies
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers across settings
- Utilize technology and software for compliance and documentation
Educational and Certification Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- BCBA Certification with a minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Credentialed as BCBA by BACB, with active memberships and certifications (e.g., ABAI, First Aid, CPR)
