About the Opportunity

The Clinical Director designs and supervises evidence-based mental health services for children with autism spectrum disorders and similar disabilities, in response to physician recommendations across various settings.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular sessions via modalities like virtual sessions and virtual reality for assigned caseloads, including supervising program implementation and monitoring documentation.
  • Provide in-field training and educate families on maintaining consistent, clinically appropriate schedules.
  • Ensure effective communication of policies to families and complete all necessary documentation, such as data sheets, support plans, and reports.
  • Monitor daily appointments for completion and accuracy, and maintain billing and progress records.
  • Meet billable hours goals and support clinical staff through meetings, trainings, and performance evaluations.
  • Supervise clinical processes, including behavioral plans, assessments, and clinical reports.
  • Maintain communication with HR and leadership regarding administrative and clinical concerns.
  • Stay current with research and trends related to autism and developmental disabilities.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and additional assigned duties.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology, childhood development, education, pediatric therapy, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • BCBA credential required.
  • At least two years of experience working with children with autism or related disabilities in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Successful experience managing a full ABA caseload.
  • Knowledge of methodologies like ABA, ESDM, TEACCH, PECS, and PRT.
  • Understanding of IEPs and community resources.
  • Sensitivity to diverse populations and reliable transportation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion, and good judgment.
  • Proficiency in computer software and documentation tools.

Physical Requirements

  • Visual, sitting, speaking, listening, and document handling capabilities.
  • Occasional walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 20 pounds.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 plus stipends and incentives.
