Job summary

Achievement Behavior Care (ABC) Services seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver direct 1:1 services in home and community settings under a 1099 contract, with hybrid options and flexible hours.

You will conduct FBAs, create BIPs, supervise BCBA-Candidates and Behavior Technicians, implement evidence-based treatment plans, train parents, and coordinate with teachers and other providers, while using RETHINK for data and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related field.
• BCBA license and Licensed Behavior Analyst credential.
• In-person position with potential for hybrid arrangement.
• Experience conducting assessments (Vineland, VB-MAPP, ATEC).
• Direct 1:1 services and parent counseling with clients at home.

Responsibilities

Achievement Behavior Care (ABC) Services is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) agency that connects quality ABA services to children with the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. Historically, we have served school aged students in the Northeast region of the US since 2015. Job Description:

As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with ABC Services you will...

• Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs)
• Create behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Supervise, evaluate, & mentor, BCBA-Candidates & Behavior Technicians
• Implement effective strategies for our clients in home and community settings
• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans for children and families that are ethically aligned with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
• Schedule and conduct parent trainings (PCT)
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care with various other personnel including teachers, other school providers, etc.
• Conduct initial and reassessments, functional behavior assessments and create behavior intervention plans
• Monitor progress and evaluate program data, modify programs based on data analysis, and report on progress/regression using RETHINK
• Provide support to families, behavior technicians, and colleagues using effective, multi-tiered stakeholder communication
• Ensure high standard of care and services

Requirements of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA):

• Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related human services field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst License
• Licensed Behavior Analyst Credential
• In Person position/potential for hybrid
• Provide direct 1:1 services and Parent Counseling and Training with clients in home
• Malpractice Insurance
• Experience conducting assessments such as the Vineland, VB-MAPP, ATEC, etc.
• Excellent clinical judgement, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Experience in developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans for individuals with challenging behavior
• Experience in developing and implementing skill acquisition plans for individuals with developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of Discrete Trial Training (DTT) programming and implementation
• Knowledge of naturalistic Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming and implementation
• Flexibility and ability to promptly respond to phone calls, text messages, and emails
• Successful completion of mandatory employee training
• Participation in ongoing in-house training and required professional development
• Multilingual is a plus!
• Dedicated to building your own team of Behavior Technicians to mentor toward success on their cases.
