Job summary

RightWay ABA, a woman-owned, BCBA-led company, is seeking a BCBA to provide center-based and in-home therapy for children with autism in Hudson County, NJ. The role features a hybrid work model with flexible scheduling.

You will conduct assessments, design treatment plans, supervise RBTs, coordinate with families and professionals, and ensure compliant documentation. This is a part-time caseload with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required with active status.
• NJ LBA licensure eligibility before start date.
• Experience delivering ABA services to children with ASD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and coordinate with families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observations and assessments to establish baselines and growth targets.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and medical professionals.
• Design and monitor individualized treatment plans targeting maladaptive behaviors.
• Deliver and refine interventions based on data trends and clinical needs.
• Coordinate referrals to speech, OT, or mental health providers as needed.
• Supervise, train, and mentor RBTs and support staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per regulatory standards.
• Stay current on evidence-based ABA research and best practices.
• Promote inclusion and community participation for individuals with disabilities.

RightWay ABA is a woman-owned, BCBA-led company. RightWay ABA focuses on offering center-based and in-home therapy for children with autism between the ages of 2-18 years old.

Range: $80-$100/hour

Location: Towns within Hudson County, NJ and surrounding areas

BCBA Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and medical professionals to address behavioral challenges across settings.
• Design and monitor individualized treatment plans targeting maladaptive behaviors while building functional skills.
• Deliver and refine interventions based on data trends and evolving clinical needs.
• Coordinate referrals to speech, OT, or mental health providers as needed.
• Supervise, train, and mentor RBTs and support staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per regulatory and insurance standards.
• Stay current on evidence-based ABA research and best practices.
• Promote inclusion and community participation for individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Valid NJ LBA licensure or eligibility prior to start date.
• Clinical ABA experience, preferably with individuals diagnosed with ASD or related disabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Calm, empathic approach with clients, families, and team members.
• Proficient in behavioral data collection, analysis, and clinical decision-making.
• Organized, with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities.
• Committed to ongoing professional development and recertification requirements.
• Familiarity with insurance billing, Medicaid, and documentation standards is a plus.
