The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing, designing, and implementing effective behavioral interventions tailored to each client\'s needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients\' behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across environments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to client progress and treatment outcomes.
• Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavioral techniques and strategies.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify specific behavioral challenges and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively when discussing client cases with healthcare professionals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral therapy.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A valid Board-Certified Behavior Analyst certification is required.
• Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with special education needs is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with medical records management.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, including the ability to analyze data and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and their application in various settings.
