Job summary

Success On The Spectrum is hiring a paid internship at our Sanford location to gain supervised BCBA experience. You will be trained to support BCBA duties and work under supervision, with a clear path to remaining as a BCBA after graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed.
• Enrolled in a Master’s program and started BCBA coursework.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds and be physically active.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare client materials.
• Implement Individualized Treatment Plans under BCBA supervision.
• Incorporate sensory activities into sessions (arts/crafts/games).
• Record client data in Central Reach.
• Convert appointments into billing and write SOAP notes.
• Attend weekly team meetings with BCBA and CEO.
• Attend quarterly trainings and team bonding activities.
• General cleaning/sanitizing duties.

Looking for supervision hours? We are hiring a playful, high-energy intern at the Sanford location!

Success On The Spectrum provides free supervision and hands-on training to individuals enrolled in a Board Certified Behavior Analyst school. SOS is an approved practicum site for many universities. Our university partnerships allow all SOS employees to access college tuition discounts!

Job Description:

• Client material creation and preparation
• Directly Implement Individualized Treatment Plans under the direction of BCBA
• Incorporate sensory activities into the session (Arts/Crafts/Activities/Games)
• Record client data into Central Reach program
• Convert appointments into billing
• Write detailed SOAP notes
• Attend weekly team meetings with BCBA
• Attend weekly performance goal meetings with CEO
• Attend Quarterly in-service trainings and team bonding activities

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree completed
• Must be enrolled in a Masters program and started your BCBA coursework
• No criminal background
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active
