What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Design and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions tailored to each client's unique needs
- Collect and analyze data on behavior and progress to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
- Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct support staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB
- Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline
- Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention
- Reliable transportation and ability to perform physical tasks as required
- Strong communication skills and ability to analyze complex situations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Familiarity with crisis management procedures and de-escalation techniques
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and assessment for ASD
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring staff in a clinical setting
