Job summary

Ivy Health’s outpatient pediatric ABA team is seeking an experienced clinician to help children learn new skills and strategies. You will tailor pediatric treatment programs across communication, social skills, self-help, and motor areas, while engaging parents to extend therapy at home.

You will work within a multidisciplinary environment, mentoring and coordinating with behavior technicians and other therapists to ensure each child receives personalized, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Guide behavior technicians in delivering ABA services.
• Partner with caregivers to support home practice and carryover.
• Collaborate with pediatric therapy teammates to coordinate care for each child.

State of Location:VirginiaPosition Summary:As an outpatient clinician within our Applied Behavioral Analysis program (ABA), you will help children and their families learn new skills and techniques using the therapy that is most effective for autism. Our goal is to work on what's most important to the child and their support system by creating an individualized pediatric treatment program tailored to their needs. Whether it's working on communication, social skills, aggression, non-compliance, self-help skills, play, academics, or fine and gross motor skills, we always address the specific concerns for each patient. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions so they can carry skills and home exercises into their child's daily life.
