Job summary

ivyhealth's outpatient pediatric team seeks a clinician to join our Applied Behavior Analysis program, helping children and families learn new skills with tailored therapies. Sessions involve caregivers and focus on communication, social skills, and daily life activities.

You will participate in multi-disciplinary collaboration while maintaining autonomy to pursue your clinical passions, and parents are encouraged to attend sessions to carry skills home.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services to children.
• Ability to coach caregivers and train families in home exercises.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team.

Responsibilities

• Guide Behavior Technicians in delivering ABA-based interventions.

State of Location:MichiganPosition Summary:As an outpatient clinician within our Applied Behavioral Analysis program (ABA), you will help children and their families learn new skills and techniques using the therapy that is most effective for autism. Our goal is to work on what's most important to the child and their support system by creating an individualized pediatric treatment program tailored to their needs. Whether it's working on communication, social skills, aggression, non-compliance, self-help skills, play, academics, or fine and gross motor skills, we always address the specific concerns for each patient. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions so they can carry skills and home exercises into their child's daily life.
