Job summary

Clementine ABA in Reston, VA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team on a part-time basis. This position offers hybrid work, 15-25 hours per week, with clinical direction from a Clinical BCBA.

You will conduct assessments, develop and monitor ABA-based treatment plans, supervise RBTs, and collaborate with families and educators to promote consistent progress toward meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• BCBA board certification required.
• Virginia LBA eligibility or active license required before start.
• Ongoing CEU maintenance required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Design, implement, and monitor ABA-based behavior intervention programs.
• Analyze client data and make treatment recommendations toward goals.
• Provide clinical supervision to RBTs and other staff as assigned.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators and professionals for consistency.
• Conduct caregiver training and ongoing guidance to support goals.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and reports.
• Participate in case reviews, team meetings and clinical consultations with the Clinical BCBA.
• Ensure services comply with BACB Ethics Code, VA regulations and policies.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention programs based on ABA principles.
• Analyze client data and make treatment recommendations to ensure progress toward goals.
• Provide clinical supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct-care staff, as assigned.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary professionals to promote consistency across environments.
• Conduct caregiver training and provide ongoing guidance to support treatment goals.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including treatment notes, progress reports, and assessment summaries.
• Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and clinical consultations with the Clinical BCBA.
• Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with BACB Ethics Code, Virginia regulations, and organizational policies.

Certification Requirements:

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®)
• Active Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential issued by the Virginia Board of Medicine, or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure prior to the start of employment.
• Must maintain all required certifications, licensure, and continuing education requirements throughout employment.
