Job summary

Climb and Thrive ABA, a Finni Health company, is seeking a dedicated BCBA or BCaBA to join our Long Island team in a hybrid, part-time role. You will work one-on-one with children in their homes, using ABA techniques under supervision to support development.

Responsibilities include assessments, behavior plans, training BTs/RBTs, documenting under HIPAA, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. CPR and background check required; transportation needed.

Qualifications

  • BCBA/BCaBA certification required or in process.
  • Master’s degree in ABA or related field.
  • Experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Empathy, patience and client-centered care.
  • Background check and CPR certification likely required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work directly with children.

About the Role

Climb and Thrive ABA, a Finni Health company, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Long Island, NY. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children in their homes, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy techniques under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a meaningful impact on their development and daily life.

What You’ll Do

As a BCBA or BCaBA on our team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children with autism and developmental disabilities

  • Developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans

  • Providing one-on-one therapy and family support

  • Supervising and mentoring BTs/RBTs to ensure consistent, high-quality care

  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create well-rounded care solutions

  • Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation (HIPAA-compliant)

  • Staying informed on current research and best practices in behavioral health

What You Bring

  • BCBA or BCaBA Certification

  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field

  • Experience working with children and individuals with autism or developmental disabilities

  • Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills

  • Reliable transportation

  • Active CPR Certification (we’ll help you get certified if needed)

  • Ability to pass a background check (required by funding sources)

  • Willingness and physical ability to work directly with children (lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, sit on the floor, etc.)
