About Us

For over 50 years, the Center for Developmentally Disabled (CDD) has supported individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the Kansas City metro area. We’re a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people live with dignity, independence, and opportunity — and we’re looking for a compassionate Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help us continue that mission.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct functional and skill‑based behavior assessments.
  • Develop and monitor Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) focused on skill growth and reducing challenging behaviors.
  • Incorporate Gentle Teaching principles to build safe, supportive relationships.
  • Train and mentor staff, guardians, and families on BSP implementation.
  • Analyze behavioral data and document measurable progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align care strategies and celebrate progress.
What You'll Bring
  • Master's degree in Behavioral Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA certification and Missouri Behavioral Analyst license in good standing.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and data‑driven documentation.

Schedule
