Job summary

SMART STEPS ABA LLC is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Los Angeles to lead development and implementation of evidence-based ABA interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. You will assess clients, design personalized plans, and work with families and professionals to promote meaningful progress.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and ABA.
  • Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
  • Strong data collection skills to track behavioral progress.
  • Excellent patient assessment abilities with a focus on behavioral health diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards.
  • Ability to develop tailored intervention strategies rooted in special education principles.
  • Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on empowering clients through positive reinforcement.

  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, treatment records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to safeguard client confidentiality.
  • Participate in intake assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings for comprehensive patient evaluation.
