Qualifications

  • Missouri LBA certification required.

  • Experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and analyzing data.
  • Experience supervising RBTs or Behavior Technicians preferred.

Arms Wide Open ABA is looking for a passionate and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team in Kansas City, MO!

What You'll Do as a BCBA

As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, you will provide clinical oversight and develop individualized ABA treatment programs designed to help clients build meaningful skills and achieve greater independence.

Bring Your Passion. What we expect from you:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other clinical assessments.
  • Develop individualized ABA treatment plans based on client needs and assessment results.
  • Create, implement, and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Analyze behavioral and clinical data to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
  • Modify ABA programs based on data-driven clinical decision-making.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians.
  • Train, coach, and provide ongoing feedback to RBTs and clinical team members.
  • Provide parent and caregiver training to promote skill development and generalization across settings.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, school teams, and other professionals.
  • Monitor client progress and establish measurable treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to coordinated care.
  • Promote ethical, evidence-based, and individualized ABA practices.

What’s required from you:
  • Missouri LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) certification
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based practices.
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and analyzing behavioral data.
  • Experience supervising RBTs or Behavior Technicians preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
