Qualifications

• Current BCBA certification required.
• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
• Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP implementation, and compliance.
• Strong communication and data analysis skills.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop BIPs.
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, educators, and staff.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families to support growth.
• Coach and train staff on behavior management and data collection procedures.
• Assist with implementing and monitoring evidence-based interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with district/state/federal requirements.

This part-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact supporting a small caseload of students with behavioral and developmental needs. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized behavioral supports that promote student success across academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains.

Position Details:

• Location: Onsite in Lake County, IL
• Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Friday
• Weekly Hours: 15 hours per week
• School Year: 2026-2027
• Caseload: Approximately 3-5 students
• Age Range: Approximately 3-15 years old

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Provide direct and consultative behavioral support services to students, educators, and support staff.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor student progress and guide intervention decisions.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student growth and success.
• Provide coaching and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and classroom staff on behavior management strategies and data collection procedures.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of evidence-based behavioral interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements.
• Support positive behavior supports and proactive intervention strategies across educational settings.

Qualifications:

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
• Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP implementation, special education compliance, and behavioral intervention strategies
• Strong communication, collaboration, consultation, and data analysis skills
• School-based experience preferred
