Job summary

MOUNTAIN BROOK SCHOOLS is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to support special education services. The role reports to the Director of Special Education in a 189-day calendar district setting.

The BCBA will oversee outside providers, lead data collection, develop FBAs and BIPs, and train staff on behavior interventions to support IEP goals across schools.

Qualifications

• Must hold BCBA license and possess a Master's degree.
• Experience with data collection and implementing behavior plans.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Provides oversight to outside BCBA providers.
• Ensures implementation of outside BCBA services, data collection, and behavior plans.
• Provides professional learning at local school staff on behavior interventions and supports.
• Serves as an active member of the Special Education Triage Team.
• Conducts FBA and writes BIPs as needed.
• Provides support and consultation to teachers regarding IEPs, BIPs, and FBAs.
• Serves as District liaison with outside therapy providers.
• Attends IEP meetings as appropriate.
• Provides guidance and support to local school staff regarding behavior interventions and implementation of behavior plans.
• Assists in the development of crisis intervention plans as appropriate.
• Prepares written reports for District staff as well as outside agencies as appropriate.
• Provides ongoing observations, consultations, and feedback to all special education staff.
• Creates and provides data monitoring systems for BIPs and IEP goals.
• Performs fidelity checks on plan implementation.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by appropriate administrators.
