Job summary

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavioral Analysis or related field; BCBA certification required.
  • Minimum of two years designing and implementing behavior modification interventions preferred.
  • Strong ABA skills and experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral support services to individuals under our care.
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs).
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).
  • Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team and deliver care appropriate to ages served.
  • Instruct staff, family members, and guardians on BSP implementation through coaching.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide behavioral support services to individuals under our care.

About Us:

Devereux California is nestled near the beaches between the Pacific Coast and Santa Ynez mountains. Devereux California is a therapeutic behavioral health treatment facility offering residential services, community living, day programs, and clinical services for adults with multiple diagnoses, including autistic spectrum disorders, emotional and/or behavioral differences, intellectual and developmental disabilities, dementia and other cognitive disorders.

Qualifications
Education:

Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavioral Analysis or related field. BCBA certification required

Experience:
  • A minimum of two years of experience designing and implementing behavior modification intervention services is preferred.
  • Must have strong applied behavior analysis skills and significant experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders-2 years minimum
  • Significant experience writing Positive Behavior support plans and conducting FBA’s- 2 years minimum preferred
  • Training staff preferred
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license must be maintained.
