Job summary

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) based in San Diego, CA. You will provide services both in our center (located in City Heights) and in the home.

We are seeking a dynamic, flexible, and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality ABA therapy and be open to providing highly individualized programs that may involve methods and tools, such as CBT, ACT, and PEERS, to support clients across their various challenges.

We also provide specialized social skills groups, monthly parent support groups, and more to meet the needs of the full range of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and design behavior intervention programs, using evidence-based ABA methodologies, with a focus on Verbal Behavior where appropriate.
  • Implement evidence-based behavior interventions tailored to the client's individual challenges.
  • Supervise and train behavior technicians, monitoring treatment fidelity, analyzing data, and making ongoing program adjustments to support client progress.
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals, providing parent and caregiver education, and promoting strategies that encourage assent-based, child-centered intervention.
  • Participate in team meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold ethical and professional standards consistent with BACB guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Bring dynamic compassion to the team to support our wonderful families.
  • Train behavior technicians to build their skill set.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Strong foundation in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis, including assessment, program design, and data-based decision making
  • Knowledge of Psychology and child development, with experience applying behavioral principles in clinical, educational, or community settings
  • Experience with Parent Education, caregiver training, and collaborative communication to support skill generalization across home and community environments
  • Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Committed to engaging in ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest research and best practices in the field
  • Embrace and demonstrate effective, direct, and open communication
  • Self-starter with the ability to make and follow your own schedule
  • You must have your own vehicle and current auto insurance
  • Ability to work on-site in San Diego, CA, including in-home, clinic, and community-based settings as needed
  • Experience with Verbal Behavior or assent-based, motivation-centered ABA programs is preferred
