Job summary

Flourishing Minds provides Behavioral Consultation services to public school districts on Long Island, Westchester and Dutchess County. Staff conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments, create and implement Behavior Intervention Plans, analyze data, and provide staff development and parent training.

This contract, full-time, in-person role emphasizes collaboration with families and professionals to deliver high-quality care and stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• Familiar with special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patients, families, and teams.
• Ability to collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Provide parent training sessions remotely or during school hours.
• Provide training and supervision to staff within the district.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate plan effectiveness.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Stay up-to-date with ABA research and best practices.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
