Job summary

AchieveAbility Therapy is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for an on-site role in Lutz, FL. You will conduct assessments, design and supervise ABA programs for pediatric clients, and lead a team of technicians while ensuring data-driven progress and documentation.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) located in Lutz, FL. The BCBA will conduct functional behavior assessments, develop individualized behavior intervention plans, and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for pediatric clients. Responsibilities include supervising behavior technicians, collecting and analyzing data, and adjusting treatment plans based on progress and clinical best practices. The BCBA will provide caregiver and parent education, collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, and maintain thorough and compliant documentation. The role also involves regular communication with families to review goals, discuss strategies, and support the child’s ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis, including assessment, program design, and data-driven decision making.
• Knowledge of Psychology and child development principles relevant to pediatric behavioral and developmental needs.
• Experience in Behavior Management, including creating and implementing positive behavior support plans.
• Skills in Parent Education, with the ability to coach caregivers on strategies to support behavior change at home and in the community.
• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and compliance with applicable licensure requirements in Florida.
• Experience working in pediatric or developmental therapy settings, preferably with autism spectrum and related conditions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries, uphold ethical standards, and support a safe, inclusive, and non-discriminatory environment for all clients and staff.
