Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead ABA services across school settings in Lakewood, WA. You will develop, implement, and evaluate data-driven supports, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.

The role includes supervising RBTs, paraeducators, and behavior technicians while ensuring high-quality, ethical practice in line with district and state requirements.

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing.
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing ABA-based behavior interventions.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse school environments and student populations.
  • Ability to meet applicable Washington State and school-district requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FBAs in accordance with state, district, and professional guidelines.
  • Develop evidence-based BIPs aligned with IEPs and goals.
  • Design ABA programs targeting communication, adaptive skills, social-emotional development, and behavior.
  • Train, coach, and supervise RBTs, paraeducators, and behavior technicians.
  • Support staff in implementing behavior plans with fidelity.
  • Establish data-collection systems, analyze progress, and adjust interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, SLPs, OTs, admins, families.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning.
  • Maintain assessments, progress reports, and supervision records.
  • Follow the BACB Ethics Code and policies.

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students across educational settings in Lakewood Washington. In this role, you will provide leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create meaningful, evidence-based supports that promote student success.

Qualifications
  • Active BCBA certification in good standing

  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing ABA-based behavior interventions

  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively across diverse school environments and student populations

  • Ability to meet applicable Washington State and school-district requirements

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Washington public schools or early-intervention programs

  • Familiarity with Washington State IEP processes and multi-tiered systems of support

  • Previous experience supervising RBTs, paraeducators, or behavior technicians

  • Experience supporting students with autism, developmental disabilities, or significant behavioral needs
