Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Lakewood, WA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead ABA services across school settings. You will develop, implement, and evaluate FBAs, BIPs, and ABA programs to support students with diverse behavioral needs.

The role collaborates with teachers, school psychologists, SLPs, OTs, families, and administrators; you will supervise RBTs and paraeducators, maintain progress data, and ensure compliance with BACB Ethics and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification in good standing.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing ABA-based interventions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to supervise RBTs, paraeducators, and behavior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs in accordance with state, district, and professional guidelines.
• Develop BIPs aligned with IEPs and educational goals.
• Design ABA-based programs targeting communication, adaptive skills, social-emotional development, and positive behavior.
• Train, coach, and supervise RBTs and paraeducators.
• Establish data-collection systems, analyze progress, and adjust interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, SLPs, OTs, and families; participate in IEP meetings.
• Maintain assessments, progress reports, treatment documentation, and supervision records.
