Job summary

Able Stars ABA in Maryland is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our collaborative team. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy within a supportive leadership structure, a hybrid work model, and opportunities to work with diverse pediatric clients.

You will conduct assessments, supervise RBTs, and contribute to program development while maintaining high ethical standards and coordination with families.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Master's degree in psychology, ABA, or a related field.
• State licensure is required where applicable.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; remains calm under pressure.
• Ability to pass background checks, including fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct skill and behavior assessments (FBA, VB-MAPP, EFL, etc.) and write individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise and train RBTs/BTs in treatment plan implementation and BACB supervision requirements.
• Collect and analyze client data to guide clinical decisions.
• Provide monthly parent education and caregiver training.
• Complete session notes, reports, and treatment plans on time.
• Maintain monthly billable hour targets.
• Collaborate with clinical team and attend trainings and meetings.
• Adhere to the BACB Ethics Code and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct skill and behavior assessments (FBA, VB-MAPP, EFL, etc.) and write individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee all clinical aspects of your assigned caseload using evidence-based practices.
• Train, supervise, and coach RBTs/BTs on treatment plan implementation, meeting BACB supervision requirements (minimum 10% of direct service hours).
• Collect, analyze, and review client data regularly to guide clinical decisions.
• Conduct monthly parent education and caregiver training sessions.
• Complete session notes, reports, and treatment plans accurately and on time.
• Maintain monthly billable hour expectations.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and attend companytrainingand meetings.
• Adhere to the BACB Ethics Code and all regulatory and funding source requirements.

Compensation and Schedule

• Competitive pay, flexible hours
• Full-Time or Part-Time Available - Full-Time is 25+ billable hours/week; anything under is Part-Time
• Hybrid: telehealth with in-person client visits asrequired

Skills and Qualifications

• BCBA certification is good standing with the BACB.
• State licensure whererequired(licensure support available).
• Master's degree in psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, ora relateddiscipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with clients with Autism and/or developmental disabilities.
• Strong communicationand leadership skills; calm and effective under pressure.
• Ability to pass a background check, child abuse clearance, and fingerprinting (completed before your start date - we'llguide you through it).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Required completion of the 8-hour BACB supervision course.
