Job summary

New Patterns Aba is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. You will diagnose, assess, and treat behavioral disorders in children, and develop individualized treatment plans to promote positive behaviors and improve quality of life.

You will also coach staff, oversee program implementation, and lead data collection. Flexible hours and ongoing training support a collaborative and compassionate work environment.

Qualifications

• BCBA responsible for diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of behavioral disorders in children.
• Develop and implement individualized behavioral treatment plans to promote positive behaviors.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff and oversee program implementation.

Responsibilities

• Assess levels of functioning using standardized assessments and FBA/FA.
• Develop detailed assessments, goals, and programming for each client.
• Coach staff and oversee program implementation.
• Develop and monitor data collection for all programs.
• Conduct Parent Training on treatment goals.
• Respond to parental concerns with Clinical Supervisor for resolution.
• Have flexible hours to be responsive to client needs.
• Communicate with the Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director in leadership meetings.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. As a BCBA, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of behavioral disorders in children. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualized behavioral treatment plans to promote positive behaviors and improve overall quality of life.

Your responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Assess levels of functioning through specific standardized assessments as well as Functional Behavioral Assessments and Functional Analyses.
• Develop meaningful and detailed assessments, treatment goals and programming to address the needs of each client.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff while overseeing implementation of programs with clients.
• Develop and monitor data collection for all programs being run.
• Conduct Parent Training on specific treatment goals that are meaningful to the family.
• Respond to parental concerns regarding programming and/or staffing issues by investigating, gathering information and reporting the the assigned Clinical Supervisor for resolution.
• Have flexible hours to be responsive to client needs.
• Communicate with The Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director on a regular basis and through monthly Leadership meetings and Supervision meetings.
