Job summary

Balance Autism in Iowa seeks a part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Clinical Supervisor to guide ABA services for children with autism. You will assess, design, implement and oversee individualized programs, supervise a team of Behavior Technicians, and collaborate with families to maximize progress.

This onsite role requires evening hours and a commitment to data‑driven, evidence‑based practice.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree required.
  • BCBA Certification required.
  • 2–4 years preferred in conducting behavioral assessments or leading ABA programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assessment of strengths/deficits to develop individualized treatment plans for children with autism.
  • Provide oversight and supervision to each child's program and a team of Behavior Technicians.
  • Collaborate with families and professionals to deliver a comprehensive, coordinated ABA approach.

Job description

Balance Autism, an innovative Autism organization, is hiring a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Clinical Supervisor to help children develop critical skills and gain independence. As a leader of our team, you will coordinate with family members and staff to develop, implement and evaluate personalized ABA programs for children with Autism. We are specifically looking for a BCBA who can work part-time, evening hours to serve our community. The anticipated schedule would be Monday - Friday from 3:30pm/4:00pm to 7:00pm.

  • Lead in assessing strengths and deficits in order to develop individualized treatment plans for children with autism.
  • Provide oversight and supervision to each child's program and a team of Behavior Technicians to ensure progress.
  • Collaborate, coordinate and train with families and allied professionals to give each child a comprehensive approach.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master's Degree
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification
Preferred experience of 2-4 years in...
  • Conducting behavioral and developmental assessments, preferably including VB-MAPP or ABLLS and FBAs.
  • Developing programming procedures and data collection systems for individual treatment plans.
  • Leading a team to provide intensive ABA skill‑acquisition programs.

We will conduct pre‑employment motor vehicle and criminal background checks.
